  • Scope and Content
This collection consists of two accompanying mixed media works which draw inspiration from the academic field of psychogeography. Both works are highly detailed and employ drawing, painting and etching.

The black and white ink on paper work ‘Gay Map of Sydney’ produced in 2019, makes graphic associations between different localities of Sydney and the various gay male demographic sub-groupings known within contemporary gay men’s subculture.

The accompanying polychrome pen on paper work ‘Gay Man Map’ produced in 2021, depicts inner psychology as a site of exploration, collaging images, words and colours to map gay men and their place in the world.
