    In-Flight Entertainment : oboe concerto (2000) by Graeme Koehne was written for Diana Doherty, Principal Oboe with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 1997. The first performance took place on 16 March 2000 at the Sydney Opera House with soloist Diana Doherty and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra conducted by Edo de Waart. Graeme Koehne AO (1956- ) is an Australian composer and music educator, born and based in Adelaide. He is best known for his orchestral and ballet scores, and for collaborations in the area of theatre and film. Diana Doherty was born in Brisbane. She studied piano and oboe at the Queensland Conservatorium of Music before completing her Bachelor of Arts in Music Performance at the Victorian College of the Arts in Melbourne. She was Principal Oboe with the Lucerne Symphony orchestra before joining the Sydney Symphony Orchestra as Principal Oboe in 1997.

    Concerto for Bass Trombone and Orchestra (2004) by Christopher Gordon was written for Christopher Harris, Principal Bass Trombone with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 1996. The first performance took place on 13 October 2004 at the Sydney Opera House with soloist Christopher Harris and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra conducted by Luke Dollman. Christopher Gordon (1956- ) is an English-born Sydney-based composer and politician, known for his film scores including Ladies in Black (2018), Mao's Last Dancer (2009) and Master and Commander (2003). Christopher Harris was born in South Africa and moved to Australia in 1987, completing his secondary schooling at Armidale High School. He has held lecturing positions at the Canberra School of Music and the Sydney Conservatorium of Music since 1996.

    Outposts : Concerto for bassoon and orchestra (2010) by James Ledger was written for Matthew Wilkie, Principal Bassoon with the Sydney Symphony Orchestra since 2000. The first performance took place on 16 March 2011 at the Sydney Opera House with soloist Matthew Wilkie and the Sydney Symphony Orchestra conducted by Hans Graf. James Ledger (1966- ) is Chair of Orchestral Composition at the Conservatorium of Music, University of Western Australia. Matthew Wilkie grew up in Canberra. He has appeared as soloist with many orchestras in Europe and Australia and has worked with the Chamber Orchestra of Europe since 1986.

    3) Outposts : Concerto for bassoon and orchestra (2010) by James Ledger. Hard bound score. Photograph of the composer with Christine Bishop and Matthew Wilkie (printed on A4 paper) enclosed.
