    MLMSS 11241
    This collection contains correspondence from three generations of the Suttor and Bowler families. Majority of the collection is the papers of John Bligh Suttor Jnr (known as Jock) (1859-1925). There is some correspondence from/to his wife Emma Isabel Parker Suttor née Bullough (1862-1953) and from John Jnr and Emma’s three children (John Bligh Suttor (known as Bligh) (1883-1960), Isabel Pearl Marjorie Suttor (1886-1953), Phyllis Augusta Bligh Suttor (1888-1980)), primarily in the 1880s. There is also correspondence to/from Jock’s parents, John Bligh Suttor Snr (1809-1886) and Julia Frances Nina Suttor, née Bowler (1829-1901), including from John Jnr's siblings; and, Julia’s parents, Frances Mary Jane Bowler, née Raitt (1806–1872) and Captain John Bowler (1793–1874).
