  • Scope and Content
    Approximately 70 letters written to Ion Idriess soon after publication in 1936 of his book The Cattle King, about Sir Sidney Kidman. Correspondents include journalist and historian M. H. Ellis, editor and writer Carl Ruhen, author Farmer Whyte, philanthropist Dame Edith Walker and Lady Isabel Kidman. Most of the letters give favourable reviews of the book, some providing additional biographical information.
