    Jan Farr (1940 –) writes plays, poems, stories and picture books for children. She was born in Hokitika, New Zealand. Her publications, including plays, children's books, and short stories. Pamela Allen illustrated a number of her books in the 1970s including Mummy, How Cold is a Witch’s Nose (1973); Big Sloppy Dinosaur Socks (1974); Mummy, are Giants Too Big for Their Boots? (1975).

  • Scope and Content
    This collection includes drawings produced during Pamela Allen’s early collaboration in New Zealand with Jan Farr, a writer of paperback stories for children in the 1970s.
