Jane Singleton was a journalist and public relations professional in the Australian public broadcasting and commercial media industries. During her career she has worked with 2GB, ABC and SBS, and was the director of Jane Singleton Public Affairs consulting firm. Singleton has also been a Walkley award judge and federal vice president of the Australian Journalists Association. She was awarded Member of the Order of Australia for service to the media and to the community, 2005.

She coordinated Nelson Mandela's Australia visit in 1990, and was also involved in the Maritime Union's communications during the Patrick Stevedores' waterfront dispute, 1998. Singleton was the inaugural host of ABC's 7.30 Report.
