    Dancing Sydney: Mapping movements: Performing histories is a collaboration between Dr Erin Brannigan (University of New South Wales), Dr Amanda Card (University of Sydney), and Dr Julie-Anne Long (Macquarie University), to promote dance in Sydney through research, exhibitions, workshops, community events and performances.

    Dr. Erin Brannigan (Westbury) is a Senior Lecturer in dance in the School of the Arts and Media, Faculty of Arts, Design and Archicture, at University of New South Wales. Brannigan was for a writer for the Australian arts newspaper, 'RealTime', 1997-2019. She has also published articles and academic publications on dance.

  • Scope and Content
    This oral history collection comprises four interviews and accompanying photographs of contemporary dancers and choreographers, as part of the project, "Dancing Sydney: Mapping movements: Performing histories". The interviews discuss the history of dance, particularly contemporary dance, in Australia.
