    Autograph letter signed, from Charles and Louis de Freycinet to their brother Henri de Freycinet on the Régulus at Rochefort, begun by Charles in Île de France [Mauritius], 10 August 1811, then added to by Louis in Paris, 5 August 1812 (3 pages on a single folded sheet, postmark, with Laage archive stamp, Dossier 173-4A). Charles describes his financial misfortunes and Louis adds that he will investigate Charles’ affairs. Louis also reminds Henri to do the work on the [Baudin] itinerary that he had promised. Louis’ maps are currently being printed.
