Kimberly (Kim) Lynton Williams AM born in Sydney 1952, he is a composer and Australian media executive. He was appointed a Member in the Order of Australia for his services to the arts and public policy formulation in the film and television industries.
Williams studied music at the Conservatorium of Music and later abroad, and on his return to Australia became a board member and chairman of Musica Viva Australia. Williams was CEO of the Australian Film Commission, senior board member of the ABC and was later chairman of the Australian Film Finance Corporation (which he founded in 1998). Later he became the Chairman of the Opera House Trust, News Corp Australia, and the Australian Football League. He then became an independent board member and eventually chair person of Copyright Agency Limited.
In 2016 Williams was appointed Chairman of the State Library of New South Wales Foundation Board. - Scope and ContentCOLLECTION 1
