  Draft letter (unsigned), from Henri de Freycinet to Louis de Freycinet, 3 April 1839, in an unknown hand with manuscript corrections by Henri [left-sloping] (4 pages on a single folded sheet, with Laage archive stamp, Dossier 274 C-14), urgently advising his brother to rethink publishing his proposed epilogue to the Uranie voyage. “Publie un ouvrage que la postérité respectera si l’époque actuelle n’y donne pas une attention suffisante.” ["Publish a book that posterity will respect even if our current era doesn’t pay it the attention it deserves"].
