  Autograph letter signed, from Louis (senior) de Freycinet to his son Henri de Freycinet at Rochefort, sent from Freycinet [family château], 14 January 1816 (3.5 pages on a single folded sheet, seal, postmark, with Laage archive stamp, Dossier 239-24) with family news as well as mention of Jacques St Cricq [a Baudin veteran], Colonel de Chabrillon and Faujas de Saint-Fond. Clémentine has been unwell, preventing her from feeding the baby, and Louis has had the ‘flu but Rose writes that he is getting better now.
