Lu le 2 Janvier 1822, devant la Société philosophique d’Australie’, being a translation into French by Louis de Freycinet, Paris, [between 1822 and 1839] (12 pages, on paper watermarked with a set of scales, with Laage archive stamp, Carton 13, Dossier 277 A1) in Louis de Freycinet’s hand, with corrections. Kept in a folder entitled by Freycinet ‘Australie et Nlle Zélande. Manuscrits envoyés par Mr B. Field (traductions)’. Also summarised by Freycinet at top left ‘Indigènes, Nlle Hollande … Mr Field’.
