Recorded at Huskisson, New South Wales on 8 February 2021 - Scope and ContentIn this two-part interview, John Hatton AO speaks about his family, hobbies, childhood in Hammondville, New South Wales and his work as a teacher in Kinalong and Nowra, New South Wales. He discusses his political career, beginning with the Shoalhaven County Council and culminating with his 22 year unbroken term as NSW Parliament's South Coast Member from 1973 until his retirement in 1995. Mr Hatton also speaks about his campaigns against corruption which lead to the 1994 Royal Commission into the NSW Police Service.
