    Katharine Brisbane, born 1932 in Singapore, founded Currency Press Pty Ltd, an Australian independent performing arts publisher, with husband Dr Philip Parsons in 1971. She founded Currency House Inc., a not-for-profit association to promote the performing arts in 2001. Brisbane was a theatre critic for 21 years, seven of those as a national critic with 'The Australian' newspaper (1967-74). Brisbane was awarded Member of the Order of Australia in 1993 in recognition of service to Australian drama, particularly as the co-founder of Currency Press.

    Martin Portus is a theatre critic and former Director of Marketing and Communication at the Australia Council for the Arts. He was an ABC TV and Radio National arts broadcaster, producer and presenter from 1989-2000. He is the Arts and Media Consultant at Currency House.
