  Walter Stackpool (1925-1998), an illustrator who found his niche in Australia's booming post-war 'pulp fiction' industry. He painted crime and western covers, including most of those used on the 'Larry Kent/I Hate Crime' novels by Cleveland Publishing Company throughout 1956-1971.
