    ‘The Savage Eye: The House before the world’

    Following completion of his Masters degree in 2006 into TV coverage of war, and his preliminary studies into the psychology of war reporting for hi PhD, Maniaty began writing a non-fiction work, ‘The Savage Eye: Television at War’.

    Maniaty and director Peter Andrikidis have maintained a long professional association. In 2016 they began collaborating on a feature file ‘The Ruins’.
