  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Jeff Kynaston grew up in Leppington in south west Sydney, joining the local Rural Fire Brigade when he was 13 years old. After leaving school he became a Metal Fabricator-Boiler Maker and worked in that field for 7 years. Later he travelled around Australia picking fruit and vegetables. He met his wife, Sarah, while picking fruit and they moved to Batlow to have their three children. Sarah and Jeff own and run a berry and honey farm and Jeff also works in a window making factory in Batlow. Jeff is currently the Vice-Captain of the Batlow Rural Fire Service. During the 2019-2020 bushfires Jeff spent many weeks fighting fires in the Tumut region.
