    Sue Wills (1944-2022) was an Australian activist, prominent in the Women's Liberation Movement and the press for LGBT rights. She was instrumental in challenging the psychiatric community's views and treatment of homosexuality and a co-founder of the Campaign Against Moral Persecution (C.A.M.P.)

  • Scope and Content
    LGBTQ and feminist activist and retired academic, Dr Sue Wills, speaks about her work with CAMP NSW, the Royal Commission on Human Relationships, the marriage equality movement, establishing the journal, Refractory Girl, and being featured as an openly homosexual person on the ABC TV programme Chequerboard in 1972. She also discusses her family and the important role the support and mentorship of her parents, university peers and teachers have played in her career and activism.
