HMS Rosario was an 11-gun screw sloop of the United Kingdom's Royal Navy, which was stationed in Australia and New Zealand for eight years, 1867-1875. In August 1869 HMS Rosario officers, including George Moore and Richard Bingham played two matches against Sydney University at The Domain, Sydney which were the first international rugby matches played on Australian soil.
