    Eileen Sewell, who was born in 1890, talks about her family life as one of seven children; her father's work as a blacksmith at Sutton Forest and her mother's arrival from Ireland and her work as a maid; living in her present house in Woollahra from birth and her memories of the neighbourhood including the water pump in Ocean Street, the lamplighters in Queen Street and Governor Rawson riding in his carriage on race days; working as a maid for Judge Owen at Dilba Hall in Wellington Street and for Mr Robinson.
