  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Ellen Margaret Waugh (1924-) is an artist, arts educator and community historian. Ellen taught a young Brett Whiteley in Bathurst, was involved with the Blake Prize for Religious Art for 20 years, and prepared and edited a number of historical accounts of the Randwick/Coogee areas of Sydney for the Randwick and District Historical Society.
    In June 2019 Ellen was awarded an OAM at the age of 95 for services to community history, and to arts education.
