  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Teresa Gertrude Cahill (1896-1979) and her brother Reg opened a small sundae and confectionery shop in Pitt Street, Sydney, in 1922. By 1927, they had formed a company, Cahills Holdings, controlling a factory at Alexandria and five shops in the city to retail their products. Ray Page worked as an accountant for Cahill’s Restaurant when she moved to Sydney in 1927.
