    1. Hesperus, 1859 tons. Built at Greenock 1873. Sold to foreigners and broken up. Was bought by the Russians in 1899 and re-named the Grand Duchess Maria Nikolaeuna.
    2. Smaller one, no. 2 from left, unknown
    3. Liverpool, 3.330 tons. Built at Glasgow 1889. Wrecked Channel Is
    4. Neotsfield, 1894 tons. Built at Dumbarton 1889. Sunk by submarine 1917.

    The Hesperus arrived in Sydney in Dec. 1891 and a gold rush being in progress, the crew cleared out and the ship was held up for 4 months
