- Scope and ContentOne Kodak photograph album, 'Plateau' no. 3, containing 121 black & white, gelatin silver photographs. The photographs are of Hilda Reid and her beau George Jones on their travels around New South Wales and at home in Sydney with friends and family including Hilda's sister Olive. They were taken mostly by Hilda with her Kodak Box Brownie. Places featured include the Blue Mountains and Jenolan Caves, Narrow Neck, Katoomba and the Royal Hotel, Wentworth Falls, Leura, Mt York, the Hawkesbury region, the South Coast, Cataract Dam, Prospect Reservoir, Kiama, Bulli, Campsie, North Sydney, Bondi, Tuggerah, Royal National Park, and aboard HMS Hood during its visit to Sydney in 1924. Also includes photographs of significant buildings in Sydney illuminated in 1920 such as the Town Hall, Customs House, Central Railway Station, Farmers and the Herald office. Also features their touring cars, a Mercedes Benz (possibly a double phaeton body) and an Alfa Romeo RL.
