    Libby Hathorn (born 1943) is an Australian author and poet who writes primarily for children and young adults. Her book ‘Eventual Poppy Day’ was published by HarperCollins in 2015. ‘A Soldier, a Dog and a Boy’, inspired partly by a photograph in the State Library of New South Wales, was published by Hachette in 2016 and was awarded the Asher Literary Award in 2017.
