Peter Corris (1942-2018), author, is best known for his detective fiction series featuring Private Investigator Cliff Hardy. He wrote nearly fifty crime fiction books, historical fiction, two books about boxing, and television scripts. He also co-authored the autobiographies of Fred Hollows and Ray Barrett. In 2000, he published an autobiographical account of his fight with diabetes. Corris died in August 2018.

'Browning without a cause', the eigth and final crime novel featuring Richard Browning, was published by Imprint in 1995.
