  • Scope and Content
On Sunday 5 June 2016, a king tide combined with a severe storm cell hit Sydney's northern and southern beaches, causing severe damage to coastal properties. Residents were evacuated on Sunday night and a large number of organisations had roles in monitoring and managing the incident and planning for the future. These oral history interviews record the experiences of four of the many people involved: Todd Dickinson, Executive Manager of Natural Environment and Climate Change at Northern Beaches Council; Craig Morrison, Senior Environment Officer, Coast, at Northern Beaches Council; Tony Cagorski, who was evacuated from his home in Collaroy; and Angus Gordon, a coastal zone management consultant for Northern Beaches Council.
