  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Caney & Co. Photographic Studio was set up by Ebenezer Caney in Lithgow, New South Wales, soon after he moved from New Zealand to Australia. Operating until approximately 1887, the studio produced many photographic views of the surrounding area, including views of the Jenolan Caves and the Blue Mountains, for which they won prizes at the International Calcutta Exhibition, 1883-1884.
