  • Scope and Content
    This collection comprises photographs and negatives, both in black and white and colour of premises owned by The Rural Bank of New South Wales, mostly from the 1950s and 1960s.

    Many of them capture the architecture and streetscapes of regional and urban New South Wales locations, but also internal views of banks and others premises identified as staff quarters, bank branches, staff houses. Many are captioned on verso with locations and addresses and notes.

    The photographs and negatives were housed in envelopes, which were annotated with typed identifications and some included slips with inscriptions and further information. All this information has been transferred to the contents lists.

    Many of the images have information on verso such as addresses, locations and notes.
