- Scope and ContentOm Dhungel speaks of his childhood in a small village in southern Bhutan, his gratitude to his parents for encouraging his education and the contrasts between boarding school and village life. He describes his work as a telecommunications engineer working for the government, his marriage in 1988 and issues relating to the caste system. He talks about the arrest, torture and imprisonment of his father, he and his family fleeing Bhutan, their life in a refugee camp in Nepal and his role as a community leader. He speaks of his move to Australia on a student visa, his university studies, his work as an engineer and his community work with refugees.
