    Anni Gallagher was born in 1950 in Gloucester, England, and migrated to Australia in 1979. She holds a degree in social work from Charles Sturt University and has worked in the areas of child abuse prevention and community development. Since 2005 she has been a Migrant Support Officer for Orange City Council.
