    There is a sub-file December 1960-April 1961 containing correspondence between the London and Sydney offices on the agreement reached with the Financial Times for a service for the Review. It commenced on April 1 and ran for a period of two years.
    To help with circulation the editor put forward a proposal for a number of Business Reports from various capitals to commence in the Review in April 1961 and they were to be published on either a weekly or fortnightly basis.
    A Leader Grant was awarded to the editor, Maxwell Newton, by the US government.
    Other memos during the period referred to a bi-weekly Review and plans for a Tuesday edition. Rights for material from the Statist. A proposal for a booklet entitled "Providing for Your Future". New Zealand sales promotion for the Review. Changes made by the editor in the organisation and responsibilities of his staff. Japanese Advertising.
    A trainee journalist from Thailand, Mr Hyuk Chong Kwon, worked for a period on the paper as did a Colombo Plan Student Mr V. Inthachat.
