    In August 1967 the journalists went out on strike because of downgradings introduced by the proprietors after a new Australian Journalists Association award had been handed down. The PKIU and other unionists joined the journalists a couple of days later. The file contains lists of journalists for downgrading; new salaries; reports of meetings.
