In September 1950 John Fairfax & Sons and the Herald & Weekly Times formed a new company, each with equal shareholding, which acquired the goodwill etc of Home and Woman's Day and other Herald Weekly Times magazines. Home and Woman's Day were combined to form one magazine. The sub-series contains correspondence between the two companies about the gravure company, the quality of work, production and editorial matters. There are also circulation figures for 1950 and profit and loss accounts, October 1950.
