The Share Register consists of the Applications and Allotments Register; Transfer Journal; Register of Members; Register of Directors; and annual returns
The Application and Allotment Journal shows the sequential application number; date received; full name of the applicant, address, occupation, number of shares applied for; number of shares allotted, chairman's initials; distinctive numbers; number of allotment letter and payment details.
The Transfer Journal gives the sequential number of the transfer, date lodged; name of transferor with the folio number in the register of members; the transferee with address and occupation; folio number in the register of members; the distinctive numbers of the shares allotted; numbers of share certificates to be cancelled; amount paid up per share and the consideration per share; numbers of new share certificates; and the date of the Board meeting that confirmed the transfer with the Chairman's initials.
The register of members gives the full name, address and occupation of the shareholder; type of shares and value; date of the various transfers with the distinctive numbers of the shares acquired and disposed of together with the balance.
The Register of Directors shows the date of appointment; full name; residential address; nationality; occupation; date of ceasing to be a director and any remarks (usually relating to resignation or death)
Annual returns are included for the years 1949 - 1953 .
A register of charges covering the years 1949- 1957 is included and there are sample share certificates.
There are two volumes in this series. The second volume is scarcely used apart from a few entries in the register of members. Loose inside this volume are declarations of directions relating to Offices held and their shareholdings. These are all dated 28 July 1975.
