This series consists of 5 sub-series of photographs, negatives, transparencies and drawings relating to John Fairfax & Sons, John Fairfax Ltd and related companies. Many of the photographs were originally used in the publication "A Century of Journalism. The Sydney Morning Herald 1831-1931" and to a lesser extent "Company of Heralds" by Gavin Souter.
The images have been grouped into 5 sub-series:
