  • Scope and Content
The Tank Stream fountain of the seasons was part of the Sydney Morning Herald sesquicentenary contributions to the City of Sydney.
The series consists of five progress reports from 'Campania' the company of the sculptor, Stephen Walker who designed and built the fountain. In addition to the written reports , the second and subsequent reports contain snapshots (mostly black and white) that are labelled and dated and pasted onto quarto paper. There is also an envelope containing seven colour slides. It is understood that these were taken after the completion of the project.
The series also includes a photocopy of an article from The Mercury [Hobart] 15 September 1980 describing the project. Stephen Walker was a Tasmanian.
There is evidence that the reports were forwarded to the General Manager and the Assistant General Manager for perusal and returned to the Administration Manager.
