  • Scope and Content
The series consists initially of special meetings of the Board to consider matters relevant to the erection of new head office premises in Elizabeth Street Sydney. While the earlier meetings are special meetings of the Board from 31 October 1927 a building committee had been established, consisting of Board members and various representatives of the builders and architects. The committee deliberated on a range of issues including the excavation, contracts, materials, equipment and the occupancy of the building.
The minutes are indexed in a separate attached booklet and for most meetings the subjects are clearly indicated in the wide left-had side margins.
