    Sally Hone, then Oral History Librarian at the State Library of New South Wales, recorded the interview for the Library's World War I centenary commemoration.
    Judy Hassall, daughter of Archie Barwick, was born in Armidale, New South Wales. She trained and worked as a nurse, later being involved in community activities including refugee organisations and the Baha'i Faith.
