Martin Porteous grew up on Sydney’s North Shore. He studied Arts Law at University of NSW, completed a speech and drama course and travelled around Europe working at Steiner schools as a drama/speech teacher, writer, actor and therapist for seven years. He is the joint CEO of Inala, a Rudolf Steiner organisation in Sydney established nearly 60 years ago that offers supported accommodation and training for individuals living with disabilities.
