Nancy Grover served as secretary and later hon. president of the Robin Hood Committee. She was director-secretary of The Asian Dance & Music Centre of Australia, which she founded in 1975.

This collection comprises Nancy Grover's papers relating to the Robin Hood Committee and The Asian Dance & Music Centre of Australia.

Box 1-3: Robin Hood Committee, approximately 1941-1984.
Material related to the Robin Hood International Art Competitions such as entry forms, catalogues, correspondence, invitations, press releases, flyers, posters and a visitor's book. Contains photographs, clippings, minutes, notes, draft constitution, financial statements, annual reports, a file with correspondence related to a lawsuit, and personal papers of Joy Alston OBE, former president of the Robin Hood Committee (diaries, legal documents, wooden plaque).

Artist and publicity files. Promotional material for concerts and tours, programmes, news clippings, correspondence (including schools, the High Commission of India and the Department of Immigration), press releases, notes, tour itineraries, financial records and photographs. Included are a theatrical agent license (1977), a business name registration renewal certificate (1980), diaries, notebooks, invitations and a 1986 India travel journal. Also contains newsletters and programmes from Australian Institute of Eastern Music.
