  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    Gerard Charles Windsor, Australian author and literary critic. He was educated at St Ignatius' College, Riverview and after leaving school trained as a Jesuit before realising it was not his vocation. He studied Arts at the Australian National University and Sydney University, before briefly studying medicine. He has published twelve books, including fiction and non-fiction, compilations of essays, stories and memoirs. His short stories, articles and reviews have appeared in numerous anthologies, literary magazines and newspapers. In 2005 he was awarded the 2005 Pascall Prize for Critical Writing.

  • Scope and Content
    Literary and personal papers, 1956-2016, including drafts of three unpublished and three abandoned novels, a number of unpublished stories, essays and articles, an unpublished history of Riverview, book reviews, correspondence with other writers, and general correspondence.
