Believed to be an unpublished work the drawing may have been produced for publication and then not included.

This drawing has been consigned from a private family collection, it was brought to the UK approximately 80-90 years ago. They have never previously been through auction, and Bonhams’ believe it was purchased from a gallery in Melbourne.

An original unpublished pen, ink and watercolour depicting two fairy children, one male holding a lantern and one female, embracing on a path on the edge of a wood, signed lower left "I.R.O" and titled lower right 'Off on the wallaby track', with numeric notations in pencil on verso.
