    Dupain's preferred version of The Sunbaker had clasped hands. This is a negative of the sole print of this version in the Vandyke Album and the original negative is lost.

    9 negatives of The Sunbaker II photograph from the Culburra scrapbook, and 2 negatives showing the face of the sunbaker, Harold Salvage. The negatives were taken in February 1995 of the original photographs in the scrapbook taken in 1937.
