The Council of Motor Clubs was founded in 1963 as The Council of Veteran, Vintage and Thoroughbred Motor Clubs. In recent years the Council was incorporated and re-named The Council of Motor Clubs Inc. The Council represents affiliated clubs and their members with authorities including the RTA regarding Conditional Historic Registration and the Federal Government on matters such as leaded fuel.
