  • ADMINISTRATIVE/ BIOGRAPHICAL HISTORY

    The Chapel and Sisters Home at St Margaret’s Hospital in Bourke Street, Surry Hills, a suburb of Sydney, New South Wales, was Ken Woolley’s first project in his capacity as Design Architect, Government Architect’s Office, and the first to be built. It was completed in 1958. The St Margaret’s Hospital site was redeveloped into high density housing in 2004, with a gallery occupying the original Woolley-designed chapel.
