• Scope and Content
  This collection comprises the main photographic archive of the Australian Red Cross, New South Wales Division, compiled between 1914 and 2012. The photographs, approximately 7200 in number, have been compiled and arranged by the archivists and the volunteers of the Red Cross. The majority of photographs are arranged in 69 boxed albums. A further 24 photograph or scrapbook albums are boxed separately. Within the collection are slides, professional publicity and press prints and amateur photographic prints, including colour polaroids. In addition, the scrapbooks include various photographic and printed media compiled and donated to the Red Cross by members and associates.
