Reverend Dr Stephanie Dowrick is regarded as one of Australia’s leading authors in the area of personal and spiritual growth. She has had a distinguished literary career and has published a number of bestselling books including 'Intimacy and Solitude', 'Forgiveness and Other Acts of Love' and 'Seeking the Sacred'.
The subject of this collection, Rainer Maria Rilke, was one of the most significant poets of the 20th century, and Stephanie Dowrick’s book is the first major study of him from a spiritual perspective. It has been published in Australia, UK and USA. The collection has two parts - those concerning Dowrick's thesis and those concerning the book which evolved from the thesis.
