- Scope and Content71 photographs, taken between 1920 and 1989, mainly of NSW buses by various commercial photographers including Sam Hood, H.B. Green & Co., A.G. Tasker, Frank Grimason, and Douglass Baglin. Most photographs are annotated with information which can include details about the bus, photographer or photographic studio, location and year. The bus companies represented include government and private buses – commuter, school, tour and airline buses. Includes photographs of buses in Sydney and regional NSW (including Mullumbimby, Mudgee, Lismore, Port Kembla, and Murwillumbah). Some locations include the Sydney Harbour Bridge toll booths, Parramatta Road outside Sydney University, the Roxy Theatre in Parramatta, Museum Station, the Leyland bus factory in Granville, Conservatorium of Music and Circular Quay. There are also photographs of planes, cars, trams, a taxi, a cement truck and a caravan.
