Dr Keith McKenry is author of the biography 'More than a life: John Meredith and the Fight for Australian Tradition' published by Rosenberg Publishing, Dural in 2014. He was President of Australia's National Folk Festival from 1998 to 2005.

John Meredith (1920-2001) influenced the Australian folk music revival of the 1950s through his collecting and preserving of Australian folklore and music.
